Many are, in fact, a variety of components available on the market, each with its own special features and suitable for different purposes. Artemide designs and manufactures all the LED circuits required to turn on the product and operate it correctly over time, in order to prevent any problems and quickly repair any possible defects. Among the most important types of LED used are: • 5mm LED, which offers the highest average life span with intermediate light levels; • SMD-LED, which enables the size to be minimised while maintaining good values of luminous flux; • Power LED, characterised by a wide choice of power and luminous flux and high life expectancy; • multi-chip LED, characterised by high power, up to over 20W per module, with high luminous flux. Artemide offers the possibility of using dimmable systems (1-10V, PUSH button, DALI) or home automation control and lighting management systems by means of specific drivers or ad-hoc solutions. The dimming of the LED allows you to create user-controlled lighting scenarios and adjust the brightness for better viewing comfort. Artemide manufactures its circuits with power signals in constant current or constant voltage, equivalent to a connection in series or in parallel to the products, respectively.
